A Senco Services SEND Audit reviews your key policies and practices, gauging their effectiveness and identifying any gaps in your provision, process, and responsibilities. If you wish, we can then work with your SENCos and Senior Leadership Team to implement positive improvements and improve your procedures.
This is the perfect measure to determine where your school is regarding Ofsted criteria and if you are meeting the guidelines SEND Code of Practice.
- In advance of our audit, we will request your key documentation and send you a questionnaire to complete.
- During the audit we will sit with your senior leaders, SENDCo, SEND team, pupils, and other staff to thoroughly review policy, procedures and processes surrounding your SEND provision.
- The Audit report will score you against the key SEND criteria, in addition to providing you with suggested actions and recommendations (at department level) in areas that are weak.
- We will work with you, to ensure that you are able to action recommendations, and support and mentor your team to SEND improvement.
